Serving with Joy and Giftedness
In the life of the church, too few Christians are involved in any kind of ministry and unfortunately miss out on seeing God work through them in the exercise of their spiritual gifts. The church is one body made up of many different individuals who have placed their faith in Jesus. Every believer is called to commit to a particular local church where their spiritual giftedness is used to love and serve each other and build up the church. To help emphasize this idea of unity, the Apostle Paul brings up social diversity, the illustration of a body and the use of spiritual gifts.
