Remembering the Lord’s Death Until He Comes
Communion is a time to look back. We remember Jesus’ death on the cross and that He took our sins upon Himself so that we might live. Communion is a time to look within, considering our lives in light of our profession of faith, and confessing our sin. Communion is a time to look ahead toward the second coming of Jesus Christ. Let’s thank Him by observing communion and “proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes”.
