We know the Christmas story so well that we can forget it demands a response from us. It’s either a good story or it’s the Good News—the Savior of the world was born and died on the cross to bring salvation. And when you put your faith in Jesus, you’ll find forgiveness of your sins. In those days, few people responded in faith to Jesus. A few shepherds did. A few wise men did. A couple of old people in the temple respond in faith. People haven’t changed in 2000 years. They’re preoccupied, curious, or troubled, but a few always respond in faith. What’s your response to the world-changing story that took place in Bethlehem?
