Celebrating Baptism

Baptism is a visual picture of person’s repentance and relationship with Christ by going through His death (going under the water) and His resurrection (being pulled out of the water). It shows others that our old way of life is gone and now we are a new creation in Christ. Baptism doesn’t give you eternal life. It’s is an act of obedience to God and a celebration of your decision to follow Jesus! It’s important to proclaim to everyone that you belong to Jesus and have joined God’s family.
