Tuesday of Passion Week
As Christ was preparing for His sacrificial death, this day encompasses His final teachings. The Kingdom of Heaven was pressing on His heart. Maybe you’ve never paid much attention to this special Tuesday. It may seem insignificant compared to his death and Resurrection, but it’s critical for us to pay the closest attention to Jesus’ final words. We can’t miss that this was Jesus’ last attempt to reach a world that was lost and turning away from Him. Jesus was revealing who He is. He was revealing the coming judgement and that He is the way to the Kingdom of Heaven. And many, including the religious leaders were missing it! Today, we learn more about our calling, our preparation and how to be watching, looking, and ready for His return.
