Surrender on the Clock
Many people struggle with how their employers treat them. Some have issues with their pay or didn’t get that promotion they felt they deserved. Other Christians struggle when their work is not very interesting or fulfilling. The issue isn’t the employer. God says the issue you’re struggling with is a heart issue. When you’re on the clock, you’re not serving your employer, you’re actually serving God. So even on the job, the Christian must follow the biblical principle of surrender. And when you do, God promises the “reward of inheritance.” Plus, your godly example and faithfulness at work gives you an opportunity for telling others about Jesus Christ. God is more interested in your heart, and your godly example.
