Rebellion is a Sign of Unbelief
Rebellion against God’s authority was humanity’s first sin and continues to be our downfall today. Like King Saul, we think we know better than God what He wants for us, so we disobey His instructions and substitute in our own ideas. Rebellion is a sign of unbelief, and ongoing rebellion is a proof of a lack of connection to Jesus and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit which can lead to eternal separation from God. What does rebellion look like in your life? If you want a change in your life, it’s time to stop complaining and surrender. Ask God to put to death the deeds of your flesh and allow Him to finish the works He’s started to do in you. God wants to forgive you, love you and lead you!
